Ch9. Are You Ready For More?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The wind is loud, the moment is honest, and the question is sharp: Are you ready for more? Join me as I discuss the quiet season between bold prayers and visible results, where hidden shifts unfold and life asks us to prove we can carry what we’re asking for. Instead of treating silence like rejection, we need to reframe it as a proving ground—one that calls for resilience, discipline, and habits that match the size of your vision.
I unpack why asking big demands thinking big and acting big. This is about readiness across every domain—career, health, friendships, and love—so you can steward growth without burning out.
What must you release to make room for bigger and better? Where are your habits out of sync with your vision and goals? How would the prepared version of you plan this week, this month? If you’ve been sensing change but seeing none, this conversation will help you spot the subtle progress, honour the process, and step into your next chapter with clarity and courage.
If the message resonates, share it with someone who needs the reminder. And if you’re ready to go deeper with me each week, follow the show, leave a review, and tell me the one habit you’ll upgrade starting today.
Windy Setup And Core Question
SPEAKER_00Are you ready for more? Let me ask you that again. Are you ready for more? First of all, before I go any further with this, I would like to apologize in advance for the audio because I am sitting outside. It is a little bit windy, so um you'll probably hear the wind, you'll probably hear a couple noises in the background, and I'll try my best to not move my headphones too much because I'm using those as the microphone right now. But um yeah, I just really wanted to record this right now in this moment because I don't want to have to go back and summer quiet and then have to think about this again, and it's not the same way as it was. So yeah, I apologize in advance, but I do hope that you get the message that I'm trying to um share. Sometimes you can think you're ready for more in your life when you actually aren't. You pray and ask God for whatever it is you're asking him for, and you tell him that you're ready for more. You tell him that you're ready to receive whatever it is you're praying for. But sometimes all you hear is silence, and it seems that God didn't hear your prayer, or that maybe he's not listening to you. You see, you go through certain seasons in your life where you see no change, you don't see any new opportunities that maybe you were expecting. But what you don't see is that behind the scenes, things are shifting. Literally, hour by hour, things are changing. And while things move behind the scenes, you will go through a season of being tested to see and confirm if you're really ready to receive those things that you've been asking and praying for. People always ask God for a lot, like all the time, and there's nothing wrong with that. But when we pray and when we ask, we need to understand that there are levels to this, and when I say this, I'm referring to I guess success. So let's say, so let's say maybe you're praying for success in whatever area of your life, because success comes in many different forms, right? And so, depending on what you ask for, or what you're praying for, there will be a certain level of faith, action, and commitment that you need to have and activate because you can't ask big and then act small and think small. It just doesn't work like that. If you find yourself acting small and thinking small, then you really need to ask yourself, are you ready for more? What you truly need to ask for is the grace, wisdom, and the strength to overcome the challenges and the tests that come with the level of success that you're asking for. Because when you ask for big things, you need to prepare for big obstacles, you need to prepare for big challenges. And some of them won't even make sense. But that is because there is a certain level of responsibility, faith, resilience, discipline, and determination that comes with the big things you ask for. Another thing you need to ask for is patience. Great things take time to construct and build, they take time to prepare and plan for. So you have to be prepared to handle all of that. So, just like that, when you face all those tests and challenges and obstacles, and maybe you prove yourself to not be ready for whatever it is you've been asking for and praying for. Those tests and challenges will teach you the lessons you need to learn so that you can be ready to receive what you asked for. The catch, though, is that everything comes down to choices. You will have a choice to learn the lessons or just not to, and you can choose to stay the same, to keep thinking small and acting small, but still daydream of receiving big things. Your actions need to align with your prayers. You need to understand that you have to become the person that is worthy, capable, faithful enough to receive those blessings. So during that silent season of testing, God is not saying no, but he's really asking you, are you ready for more? You don't just get hired for a job because you want it. You need to first want the job, and then you go after it. So you apply for it, and then you have to prove that you have the experience, the qualifications to prove and back up why you should be the selected candidate. And sometimes you are gonna get rejected, but that isn't a sign to back away, but maybe a sign to step back and see where exactly you're lacking in your approach, and you need to review your skills and your qualifications. Once you figure that all out, then you can change your approach and work on your skills and come back and try again. That is how it is when it comes to asking and receiving. You need to show that you are qualified, experienced, ready, and prepared for more. That you are willing to do the necessary work to undergo the process of elimination and get rid of the things that are not in alignment with what you're asking for. You have to be willing to go through a complete rebirth. You need to prove to God that you are trustworthy, that you're reliable, and that you're able to handle the level of responsibility that is required for the level of success that you're asking for. And by the way, I'm not just referring to success as the material things. I'm also talking about, you know, platonic relationships, romantic relationships, your health, and anything else that is success in your eyes. So when you ask God for more, make sure you're prepared to go through whatever you need to so that you could receive what you asked for. So I'm going to ask you again. Are you ready for more? What is it that you're asking God for? And what are you praying for in this season? I'm not sure when you're listening to this, but right now it is February 1st, and we have about two weeks left off the year of the snake. So that means there's still some shedding to do and some shadow work that can be and needs to be done. And if anything, it's the most important part of the shedding because it's the final stages. So this is a perfect time to ask yourself what do you need to do to align yourself with whatever it is you're asking God for in this new season that's coming up? And maybe you're listening to this, and maybe um you don't necessarily believe in God, or maybe you believe in another higher power. Whatever it is you believe in, and whatever it is you're asking for, just ask yourself these questions. What do you need to do to align yourself with whatever it is you're asking for, whatever it is you're working towards, whatever it is you're manifesting? What do you need to do to receive that? What do you need to let go of so you can make room for what you're asking for? What do you need to surrender to? What do you need to embrace and accept? How do you need to show up? How do you need to think? And how do you need to act? What do you need to do to qualify for what you're asking for? This is a great year to align yourself with your heart's true desires to connect with the things that you've always wanted to, to champion yourself, but you really need to be willing and prepared and committed and intentional about it. Everyone dreams of success, and everyone deserves to have that success, and I truly mean that, and I truly believe that. But the thing is, you've got to be willing to put in the work to achieve that success. So as we start this new month, ask yourself, are you ready for more? If this resonated with you, please share it with someone who you know that may need this message as well. Remember, when you pray big, you need to prepare for big. Think big, act big, and be ready to receive big. Thank you so much for joining me. Until next time, take care of yourself, take time for yourself, and be kind to yourself.
